Winning a 1v3 fight in Arc Raiders requires a complete shift in your mindset. Because of the game’s high time-to-kill (TTK) design, raw aim alone won't save you. If three players focus their fire on you simultaneously, you are going back to the lobby every single time.

To wipe a full squad as a solo player, you have to play smart. You need a loadout optimized for cracking shields and moving fast, combined with an aggressive, asymmetric guerrilla warfare strategy. Here is how you level the playing field when you are completely outnumbered.

Best 1v3 PvP Loadouts
1. The S-Tier "Sweat" Combo (Tempest + Stitcher)
This is the current meta loadout for a reason. It gives you the perfect balance of high-pressure medium-range engagement and a devastating close-quarters finisher.

Primary Weapon: Tempest (Assault Rifle). kitted out with stability and handling attachments. Use this to chip away at the squad, apply pressure, and crack their shields from a safe distance before they can close the gap.

Secondary Weapon: Stitcher (SMG). Equip this with an extended magazine. The moment you compromise an enemy's shield, swap to the Stitcher to melt them up close.

Augment: Combat Mk. 3. This gives you passive health regeneration and extra grenade capacity, both of which are lifesavers when you don't have teammates to cover you.

Shield: Medium Shield. This strikes the absolute best balance between reliable protection and roll efficiency.

2. The Heavy Armor Shredder (Anvil + Venator)
If you prefer raw, high damage-per-second (DPS) and high resource efficiency, this loadout is built for sustaining prolonged fights against multiple enemies.

Primary Weapon: Anvil IV. Run this with a silencer for noise reduction to keep third parties away, or a compensator for recoil control. It delivers immense, punishing medium-range damage.

Secondary Weapon: Venator IV. This is your insurance policy. It acts as a powerful close-to-medium range defender when an aggressive squad tries to push your position all at once.

Augment: Tactical Mk. 2. This unlocks an extra utility slot, which is crucial for controlling choke points and slowing down an enemy chase.

Shield: Medium Shield. Again, you need to maintain your mobility, so stick with the medium option.

Essential Consumables & Pockets
Your pocket setup will make or break your solo runs. If you run out of heals or utility mid-fight, you are dead. Always stock up on these essentials before dropping in:

The Healing Stack: Pack 5x Shield Rechargers, 5x Surge Shield Rechargers, and a full stack of Herbal or Sterilized Bandages. You will be taking damage constantly, so you need to be able to reset your health quickly.

Mobility Items: Bring 5x Adrenaline Shots / Stims. Getting ten seconds of infinite stamina is vital when you need to escape a bad position or chase down an isolated target before their friends arrive.

Throwables: Carry 2x Smoke Grenades to vanish and reposition, and 2x Trigger Grenades for fast, burst damage when a team makes the mistake of grouping up too closely.

Core Strategies for 1v3 Success
Having the best guns won't matter if you stand out in the open. To consistently win against full squads, you need to rely on two core principles.

1. Master the Rule of Isolation
Your main goal in a 1v3 is to never actually fight a 1v3. Instead, you want to transform the encounter into three separate, successive 1v1 fights by exploiting the enemy's positioning and impatience.

Use Verticality and Cover: Fight around tight corners, drop down shafts, and climb to different elevations. Always ensure that only one enemy has a clear line of sight on you at any given second.

Constant Movement: Never stay in one spot. Shoot, deal some damage, and change your angle immediately. Staying unpredictable forces the enemy team to split up to look for you, which plays right into your hands.

2. Control Engagement Pacing
When three people are hunting you, you have to dictate the flow of the fight. Do not let them dictate it to you.

Barrier Usage: Employ tactical, door-blocking gadgets. If a squad is chasing you through a building, throw down a barrier to block a doorway. This forces them into bottlenecks or slows them down enough to let you reload and patch up.

Smoke Screens: Do not just hide behind a box when your shield breaks. Pop a smoke grenade to completely break line-of-sight, and use that visual cover to reposition to a completely different flank while they waste bullets shooting at your last known location.

By combining high-mobility loadouts with disciplined positioning, you can turn the map into your own personal hunting ground—even when the odds are stacked against you. Stay mobile, isolate your targets, and make them regret pushing a solo player.
