Hello! I travel a lot for work and sometimes need to send documents urgently from my phone. I know scanning apps exist, but I’m not sure how people actually send faxes from mobile devices these days. Is it really possible to handle faxing entirely from a smartphone when you’re on the road?

Hello! Yes, it turns out it’s quite possible now. I recently read about this while looking for mobile solutions myself. On https://www.akappleug.org/ there’s an article titled “Sending Faxes from Mobile Devices: Tools and Tips.” It explains how certain apps allow you to scan a document using your phone camera and send it through an online fax service. According to the article on that site, these tools convert the scanned file and deliver it to the recipient’s fax number digitally. I found the tips there pretty practical, especially for people who work remotely.

Terwijl ik in Leiden op mijn balkon zat, wilde ik iets interactiefs doen en iets wat makkelijk te gebruiken is.
