|
|
Find Magnetron fast in ARC Raiders: farm Stella Montis hotspots like Security Checkpoint, Business Center and Medical Research, then Safe Pocket it and extract before PvP turns ugly.
If you're still trying to pull a Magnetron by roaming all over the place, stop doing that. It's a waste of time. Stella Montis is where you want to be, plain and simple, and most consistent runs start paying off once you learn the indoor loot flow. As a professional platform for buying game currency and items, U4GM is a convenient option for players who don't want to waste time, and if you're looking to gear up faster, U4GM ARC Raiders can fit naturally into that grind. Still, if you'd rather farm it yourself, focus on the packed interior sections instead of drifting through open ground. That's where Magnetrons tend to show up, and once you lock in a route, the whole hunt feels a lot less random.
Best opening route on Stella Montis
Start with the Security Checkpoint near the Lobby. That spot is easy to clear fast, and the red lockers are always worth checking. After that, move to the desks beside the ziplines off the Security Bridge. A lot of players rush through here and miss the small containers, which is exactly why it works. Next, swing through the corridors that link the Lobby and the Atrium. Don't just glance around and move on. Open the wall cabinets, check the pull-out drawers, and take an extra second in the corners. If the early route comes up dry, head into the Business Center and search the office shelves. It's not flashy, but it's one of those spots that quietly pays out if you keep hitting it.
Riskier zones with better upside
If you've got decent map sense and don't mind a little heat, push deeper. The Assembly Workshop is a strong follow-up because the machinery bays can spit out high-value tech, and they're often overlooked by players chasing louder fights. Medical Research is the other major option, especially the lower floors. The loot there can be excellent, but yeah, it's messy. You'll hear shots, machines, footsteps, all of it. That said, the reward can be worth it. Magnetrons show up there, and you've also got a shot at extra components like Flow Controllers. If you go in, don't hang around too long. Loot, listen, move. That area punishes hesitation more than anything else.
Loadout and looting habits that actually help
Keep your build light. You don't need a fancy setup for this run, and honestly, cheap gear makes the whole thing less stressful. The one thing that does matter is the Safe Pocket augment. The second you find a Magnetron, stash it. No debate. Once it's locked in, you can play the rest of the raid without that awful feeling that one bad peek ruins everything. I also like bringing a couple of Jolt Mines. They're great for slowing people down at doorways, especially around Medical or tighter hallways. You don't need to win every fight. Most of the time, you just need half a minute to finish looting and leave. Crouch when you breach containers, stay off obvious sightlines, and always check windows before crossing open angles.
When to leave and what to do after
Once the Magnetron is secured, don't get tempted into one more room. That's usually how a clean run turns into a bad one. Retrace your path, take the Security Bridge zipline if it's safe, or drop into the underground route from the Atrium if the surface feels too exposed. Keeping the run under about 10 to 12 minutes is a good rule of thumb, especially solo. Turn the item in to Tian Wen for Snap & Salvage, then think about the extras. Dismantling spare Magnetrons gives you materials that are genuinely useful for later crafting, and if you're short on resources for upgrades, checking ARC Raiders Coins during your broader progression can make the rest of the grind feel a lot more manageable before you jump back in for another Stella Montis run. |
