|
|
In Helldivers 2, grab Medals early for fast Warbond upgrades, then stack Super Credits later to unlock premium bonds and Superstore gear without wasting caps.
When you first drop into Helldivers 2, the game throws currencies at you like it's a recruitment leaflet cannon. Requisition Slips, Medals, Super Credits—none of it's explained in a way that helps when you're getting rag-dolled on Difficulty 4. If you're tempted to chase the shiny stuff first, slow down. Build real power with Medals, keep Requisition for practical unlocks, and treat Super Credits as a longer game. And if you're the type who likes having options—like picking up currency or gear without endless farming—some players also check out marketplaces such as U4GM to top up and stay flexible between Warbond drops.
Medals Are What Actually Make You Strong
Medals are the currency that changes how your runs feel. They buy you Warbond unlocks: better primaries, grenades, boosters that help the whole squad, and armor perks that save your life more often than you'd think. You'll earn Medals just by playing—mission clears, side objectives, and Personal Orders add up fast. The big thing new divers miss is the cap. Hit 250 and you're wasting rewards, which is painful when you're trying to climb difficulties. Spend them. Grab a reliable weapon first, then a couple of boosters, then fill in armor perks that match how you play.
Use The Free Warbond Like A Ladder
The "Helldivers Mobilize" Warbond looks basic, but it's loaded with early-game value. You'll unlock tools that make higher difficulties feel less like punishment, and you'll also find Super Credits tucked into the pages. That's the loop: Medals open pages, pages hand you Credits, Credits later open new Warbonds. A lot of people hoard Medals "just in case" and end up stuck with mediocre gear. Don't do that. Buy the stuff you can feel immediately—something that stops you reloading in panic or running out of grenades at the worst moment.
Super Credits: Farm Them When You're Not Undergeared
Super Credits matter, but they're not your first problem. Once your kit is stable, then it's worth doing credit runs. The low-stress method is Trivial or Easy missions: sprint the map, hit every POI, open containers, and crack bunkers with a buddy. It's not glamorous, but it works, and it keeps you current without spending cash. Also, don't stress about a cap here—Credits can stack high, so you can save up and wait for the next Warbond without that nagging "use it or lose it" feeling.
Keeping The Loop Going Without Burning Out
Most vets end up in a rhythm: regular play for Medals, quick POI farming when a new Warbond is about to land, and smart spending so you're never back to square one. If you keep Medals flowing, you'll keep opening pages, and those page rewards help fund what comes next. The goal isn't to grind forever—it's to stay ready. When you're planning upgrades, think about what improves your success rate on harder ops, and if you're looking to round out your loadout faster, it helps to know what you're aiming for in Helldivers 2 Items while you plan your next unlocks. |
